The Cable Tow

The Cable Tow offers a really cost effective way to get on the water. This is great way to start any of the disciplines. Get on the water with a group of friends, and and learn with others. Our 2 hour beginner's ski school has introduced thousands of new skiers and riders to our sport.

• Under 11's must learn on the boats or by attending our kids club on the cable, find out more on our kids activities.

Start by watching our instructional DVD and completing our registration. Change into your wet suit and life jacket, then your instructor will show you the basics of kneeboarding. This happens on our special training system that allows you to get the hang of things in a controlled environment near to the shore. Once you have mastered these you will be out on to the main cable to continue your progression.

We run beginner ski schools on the hour every hour throughout the day until 2 hours before close (see the calendar and opening times). To avoid disappointment, book your place on the ski school in advance.

NEW FOR 2013 Fast track cable wakeboard course  — learn how to wakeboard on JBSki’s system 2.0 straight line cable progressing to the full cable. You will benefit from one-to-one coaching with one of our qualified instructors on the System 2.0 for 15 minutes and then progress to the main cable for one-and-a-half hours’ wakeboarding.  Adults: £50
